What Bearkat fans need to know for Gameday at Bowers

HUNTSVILLE – Read below for the need-to-knows for Saturday when the reigning national champion Sam Houston Bearkats play at home on Saturday for the first time since claiming the title in May vs Southeast Missouri. 
 
TICKETING
Fans are encouraged to purchase tickets in advance either online at GoBearkats.com or by calling the Bearkat Ticket Office at 936-294-1729; however, walk-up sales will be available for the 2021 season after not being available in the spring.
 
The Bowers Stadium box office opens at 2:00 p.m.
 
All students and faculty/staff walking up with a Bearkat OneCard will be directed to enter at the northeast gate by the scoreboard with seats in the East Grandstand. Those faculty/staff interested in a West Grandstand ticket will be directed to the primary box office on the west side of the stadium.
 
The home pass list is located at Gate 4 and opens at 4:30 p.m., while the visitor pass list (Southeast Missouri) is located at Gate 5 (Southeast corner) and opens at 4:30 p.m.
 
It should be noted that ADA seating in West Grandstand will be strictly enforced.
 
PARKING
On gameday the Upper West and North lots will require orange permits. Those parking in the orange or VIP lots on the west side of Bowers Stadium will enter from Montgomery Rd./Bowers Blvd. when arriving from the south, or from the east entrance off of Bearkat Blvd. when arriving from the north.

BEARKAT PAVILION & STATIONS
The Bearkat Pavilion is new for the 2021 season and is located on the southwest corner of the Bowers Stadium grounds. The pavilion is a decked area where fans will be able to find Smokin' Sammy's BBQ, sodas, beer and wine and a number of other food options from an elevated position above Bowers Stadium.
 
The pavilion can be reserved for pregame and/or postgame private functions, but will be available to all ticketed fans during the game.
 
Additionally, there are three newly-built smaller stations that will serve food, beer and soda. Two will be located on west side with another located on the east side of Bowers Stadium.
 
BEER & WINE SALES
Beer and wine were sold at Bearkat football games for the first time in the Spring 2021 season and that will continue in the fall. There will be four beer carts located throughout the stadium, in addition to sales at the concession stand.
 
sEATz IN-SEAT ORDERING APP
Another returning feature from the Spring 2021 season is the sEATz app that allows fans to have food and drinks delivered directly to their seats. The app is available for iOS in the App Store and Android on Google Play.
 
TAILGATING & BEARKAT ALLEY
After not having tailgating in the spring, tailgating will be back in the fall. Bearkat Alley will be in the North Lot, beyond the scoreboard at Bowers Stadium. Festivities will officially begin at 4:00 p.m. and will be over by 5:45 p.m. to allow for fans to enter the stadium in time for kickoff.
 
MERCHANDISE
Fans wishing to purchase Bearkat Gear at Bowers Stadium can do so at the merchandise trailer in Bearkat Alley and at a station near the Bearkat Pavilion in the southwest corner of the stadium.
