UIL Region III Championships still on as planned

The UIL Region III Cross Country Championships, scheduled for Monday at Huntsville's Kate Barr-Ross Memorial Park, will go on as planned, meet director and Sam Houston State head track coach David Self confirmed on Sunday morning.
Those involved are encouraged to keep an eye out on GoBearkats.com for any weather-related changes that may occur with the event.
The meet, beginning at 8:30 a.m. and continuing through 2 p.m., features high school competitors from District 2A – 6A, with girls competing in the 2-mile run and boys racing the 5,000 meters. Live updates will be available at flashresults.com and afterwards at GoBearkats.com.
