Hall of Honor
Antunes, a letter-winner in 1974 and 1975, was one of Sam Houston's first golfers to earn NAIA All-America honors. He placed sixth individually in the 1975 NAIA National Championship tournament with a 292 score (only four strokes behind the winner's total). His performance helped lead Sam Houston to a runner-up team performance, building the foundation for a Bearkat program that went on to win the NAIA championship the next four years.
