Heinz was a member of the golf team from 2005-2008 and was a four-time All-Southland Selection. She was named SLC honorable mention as a freshman and sophomore and earned second team honors her junior year. As a senior, Heinz was a first-team All-Southland pick after a runner-up finish at the Southland Conference Championship.
Twice Heinz was a tournament champion taking top honors in at tournaments as a sophomore and senior. Her best season with the Kats came in her last. Heinz lowered her stroke average by nearly 2.5 shots, shooting a 75.97 that season. That mark ranks as No. 10 overall in school history.
She is one of nine Bearkat golfers with multiple individual titles in their career.
