Sauceda was a goal keeper on the soccer team from 2003 to 2006. She was part of the inaugural signing class that was tasked with helping build the soccer program from scratch.

In just the third year of the program, Sauceda helped lead the Bearkats to a run to the Southland Tournament Finals, before falling to the hosts Northwestern State 1-0 in overtime. For her efforts she was named to the All-tournament team.

Sauceda holds the school record for saves in a match (18), season (162), and career (515). She recorded seven clean sheets in her career which is third all-time. She has also logged the third-most minutes in goal with 5,173.
