Raman Saran is one of only three Bearkat women golfers to earn All-Southland Conference in each of her four years of competition. Playing from 2002 to 2005 she was named as the team's “Most Valuable Player” three times. She led Sam Houston to a conference championship in 2004. Her career total of four tournament medalist titles ranks second all-time at SHSU.
