Former athletic trainer makes donation to Bearkat sports medicine

Billy "Doc" Wilson, head athletic trainer for Sam Houston State for 20 years until his retirement in 1990, has donated a free-standing ultra sound machine to the Bearkat Sports Medicine department.
Wilson coordinated the athletic training and teaching program during his tenure at Sam Houston State.
The 1956 North Texas State graduate worked as an athletic trainer at Port Arthur Jefferson, El Paso Austin and Midland Lee High Schools before joining the Sam Houston State staff in 1971.
