Dooley placed 42nd with a time of 23:38.4 on the 6,000 meter course. Gemeny was 43rd with a 23:39.0 clocking.
Patrick Krol led the Bearkat men with a 55th place finish and a time of 27:55.7
Emily Koenig of UTA won the Southland women's individual title with a 21:30.3 performance. Patrick Kimeli of A&M-Corpus Christi was the men's champion.
Other finishes and times for the Bearkat women included Sara Collazos 53rd (23:56.3), Molly Farrell 61st (24:24.6), Kylie Fitzgerald 70th (24:50.4), Crystal Santos 72nd (25:13.6) and Kim Brooks 84th (26:05.3.
SHSU men's finishes also included Ryan Saam 60th 28:09.0, Patrick Pitts 61st 28:15.3, Clint Anders 64th 28:25.4; Travis Kocurek 75th 29:48.0, Austin Brown 83rd 30:46.0 and Matt Stephenson 89th 32:07.5.
Stephen F. Austin won the women's race with a team score of 34. A&M-Corpus Christi was runner-up with 78 points followed by McNeese State 116, UT-Arlington 137, UTSA 139, Nicholls 155, Lamar 158, Texas State 170, Central Arkansas 218, Southeastern Louisiana 254, Sam Houston 265 and Northwestern State 332.
Lamar won the men's title with a team total of 38 points. McNeese State was the runner-up with 70 points followed by UTSA 77, Stephen F. Austin 114, A&M-Corpus Christi 134, Texas State 155, UT-Arlington 201, Southeastern Louisiana 213, Central Arkansas 234, Sam Houston 298, Northwestern State 304 and Nicholls 378.
