Nyha Carter signs with Bearkat women's basketball

Carter is a three-time All-District selection, earning first team honors the past two years and second team selection as a sophomore. She was named District 24-5A "Defensive Player of the Year" as a sophomore and junior. Carter led Clear Creek in scoring and rebounding, averaging 10.8 points and 10.4 rebounds per game.
Carter was a three-year starter for the Wildcats, leading her team to district championships her sophomore and senior year. She also led her team to the playoffs all three years.
An outstanding leader, Carter was a four-year member of the JROTC. She was a sharpshooter her freshman year. She won first place for physical training her sophomore, junior and senior year and she was company commander her senior year.
