Season Ticket Prices Announced

Head coach Willie Fritz and his Bearkat squad brought new thrills to Bowers Stadium, winning six of their final nine games in 2010. Picked to finish next to last in the league, the Kats tied for third in the Southland Conference. Co-champion SFA edged Sam Houston by only a field goal.
The excitement continues as almost every member of last year's squad returns to join with another outstanding recruiting class. Even more exciting is the 2011 schedule.
This fall's Sam Houston season ticket package will include seven games - six at Elliot T. Bowers Stadium and the 87th "Battle of the Piney Woods" with SFA at Reliant Stadium in Houston.
NCAA Division I playoff participant Western Illinois kicks off the schedule in an exciting home opener Thursday, Sept. 1. Other highlights include the return of the Lamar Cardinals to Bowers Stadium for the first time since 1988 and Sam Houston's inaugural game with UTSA.

Renewals will be mailed to season ticket holders by Tuesday, March 29, with a deadline to renew by May 2.
Season tickets will go on sale to the general public on Friday, April 1.
All new season ticket purchasers and those who renew by May 2 will receive a "Battle of the Piney Woods" t-shirt and a Sam Houston Bearkat car flag as part of the order. The flag will be perfect to display on the drive to Reliant Stadium for the Piney Woods game and for all the trips to Bowers Stadium.
The price of 2011 season tickets for new season ticket holder and Bearkat Champions is $275 per seat. The cost includes a chairback seat, tax deduction, parking pass and a Bearkat football "Special Event" invitation.
Bleacher reserved season ticket holders will pay $100 for their seven-game season ticket.
