Parking Code of Conduct
The Miller Lite parking lots at NRG Park are there for your convenience and enjoyment - we not only allow tailgating in the Miller Lite parking lots, we encourage it.
Every effort is made to create a fan-friendly environment that is safe for all to enjoy. Our fans play a large role in this. In order to maintain a safe and fun environment, we ask that all fans follow directions given by the Reliant Park staff. They are there to assist you and make parking safe and fun for everyone.
Those who do not adhere to the parking guidelines and/or participate in activities that create an unsafe environment will be held responsible. Parking passes, like your tickers, can be traced back to your season ticket account. Unacceptable conduct in the Miller Lite parking lots falls under the Two Strike Program outlined in the "Fan Code of Conduct" (below).
Tailgating
We want NRG Stadium to provide the finest tailgating experience in football, so we have established a few guidelines to make your tailgating party great:
- All Parking lots (except for Platinum Lot) will open four hours prior to kickoff. Platinum Lot will open five hours prior to kickoff.
- Parking is first-come, first-served; saving spots will not be allowed. If you would like to tailgate near friends, please arrive together.
- Tailgating will be limited to on 8'x16' space for each valid parking hangtag, and must not cross over into the drive lane designated by the blue lines down each aisle.
- RV's, buses, and oversized vehicles will need to purchase a minimum of two parking spots and need to park in the designated RV areas in each lot.
- If you plan to extend sides or set chairs outside of your RV or Bus you will need parking hangtags in addition to the ones for the space that will be used by your vehicle.
- Barbecues in tow will also be required to have an additional purchased hangtag.
- Liquid charcoal starter or other flammable liquids are strictly prohibited. Charcoal may be started with an electrical starter designed for this purpose or quick starting charcoal is recommended. Open flames are allowed buy all barbecue pits left unattended must be extinguished.
- Ash containers, trash containers and port-o-lets are located in each lot.
- Hot ashes, cinders, smoldering coal, wood or other materials must be disposed of in the Orange ash dumpsters only.
- Trash must be disposed of in the Green dumpsters only.
- Disposable LP=Gas cylinders shall not be disposed of in the Orange ash dumpsters.
- For safety purposes, all tents, chairs, etc. must be put away before entering Reliant Stadium.
- In order to ensure the safety of you fans, no golf carts, Segways, motorize coolers, skateboards or large balloons will be allowed for use by fans in the parking lots.
- Reliant Stadium does not grant the right to display advertising, banners or signs, or distribute promotional items on property. Fans may be asked to remove inappropriate banners or signs. Vehicles with commercial logos are also prohibited and may be asked to leave the property.
- All cooking equipment shall be situated away from crowds, buildings, vehicles or combustible materials. A minimum clearance distance of 3 feet is required.
- A minimum class 2A-10B:C fire extinguisher with a current service tag is required at each cooking area. All cooking areas where deep fry cooking is performed using vegetable or animal oils or fats require a TYPE K fire extinguisher with a current service tag.
- LP-gas cooking appliances shall be UL listed and approved for use. LP-gas cylinders shall be secured in an upright position to keep from falling and positioned to prevent impact from vehicle traffic. Portable generators are not to be filled while running and fuel must be in a UL listed safety can (2 gallon max). Portable generators and fuel must be stored away from cooking appliances.
- Any violation of the fire safety regulations will be subject to citations being issued by the City of Houston Fire Inspector.

- Only certified service animals are allowed on property.
H-E-B Tailgater of the Game
H-E-B Tailgater of the Game judges will be roaming the parking lots looking for the next big winner! Be sure to get your H-E-B food and products and show the best Team Spirit, Food (Exclusive H-E-B Presence is a must!), Originality and Hospitality to become the H-E-B Tailgater of the Game. The winner will be recognized during the game on the video board and will win an H-E-B gift card.
Fan Code of Conduct
NRG Stadium is a fan-friendly environment. We are committed to creating a safe, comfortable and enjoyable experience for everyone. Our staff will proactively intervene to support an environment where the game will not be disrupted by the interference of guest actions or any unauthorized persons on the interference of guest actions or any unauthorized persons on the playing field. Fans are advised that the following behaviors will not be tolerated.
- Behavior that is unruly, disruptive or illegal in nature
- Intoxication or other signs of alcohol or substance impairment that results in irresponsible behavior
- Foul or abusive language or obscene gestures
- Interference with the progress of the game (including throwing objects on the field)
- Failing to follow instructions of stadium personnel
- Verbal or physical harassment of opposing teams fans.
Additionally, one fan does not have the right to affect the enjoyment of the game by other fans. All guests must show their ticket when requested and only sit in their ticketed seat. Please call our gameday hotline at 832.667.1400 or text "HOU" issue to 78247 if you encounter something that disrupts your enjoyment on gameday.
The Two Strike Program allows for a warning to fans who are disruptive or acting inappropriately by giving out a yellow card with a reminder about our Fan Code of Conduct. However, if a staff person must approach someone a second time during a game for inappropriate behavior, the fan will be required to leave NRG Park property. Any fan acting in a disruptive manner will be asked to leave immediately. Evicted guests are not welcome to return for the remainder of the game and may be subject to further disciplinary action, including the revocation of season tickets. All season ticket holders are responsible for their conduct as well as the conduct of their guests and/or persons occupying their seats.
