Four Bearkat women finished among the top 100 at the University of Alabama Crimson Tide Classic Friday in Tuscaloosa, Ala.
Miranda Prado placed 57th in the 4,940 meter race with a time of 18:28.77.
Ana Moreno was 64th with a 18:35.50 clocking followed by Olivia Olguin 83rd (18:52.28) and Nicole Aponte 88th (18:55.50).
Led by Ryan Saam, the Bearkats finished 16th in the men's 8,033 meter race at Alabama. Saam posted a 82nd place finish with a time of 26:30.67.
Auburn, Texas-Arlington and Stephen F. Austin finished first through third in the 21 team men's competition.
Other Sam Houston men's finishes were Palo Ponce 86 (26:34.37), Logan Terry 92 (26:43.02), Karl Schreiber 104 (26:57.61), Evan Arambula 130 (27:43.27), Lucio Rosas 1418 (28:20.50) and John Bounds 159 (28:51.27).
