Walkon tryouts to be held Sept. 19

The Sam Houston State women's basketball team will hold try outs for any students enrolled with the university interested in joining the program as a potential walkon.
The tryout will be held Sept. 19 at Johnson Coliseum at 7 a.m. Anyone interested should contact assistant coach Stacy Stephens at sds040@SHSU.EDU.
In order to participate in any sport, you must:
- be registered with the NCAA Eligibility Center
- have proof of insurance
- complete a Sam Houston State athletics physical form.
- Must be cleared by SHSU's NCAA compliance officer, eligibility officer, head trainer and head coach
