Robertson, a transfer from Tyler Junior College who played for Cy Falls High School, led the SHSU women in scoring with 28 points in a 63-58 victory over ACU in Abilene Thursday and 21 points in a 65-64 upset of SFA Saturday in Huntsville.
Both games featured amazing come-from-behind efforts by the Bearkat women.
In Abilene Thursday, the Kats were down 58-51 with 1:39 to play. Robertson scored 10 of SHSU's points in a 12-0 run in the final minute and a half to earn the road victory. Her effort included four consecutive free throws in the final 17 seconds against the Wildcats.
Saturday, the junior led Sam Houston State hit a pair of free throws for the winning points with 12 seconds left against Stephen F. Austin.
Robertson finished the week averaging 24.5 points per game and leads the conference in league play with 22.1 points per contest. Her 21 points against the Jacks was her fifth consecutive game of 20 or more points.
For the week, Robertson hit 12-of-25 from the field (48 percent shooting), 9-of-17 from three point range (52.9 percent) and 16-of-20 from the foul line (.800 percent). She assisted on 10 more SHSU baskets by her teammates and totaled three steals.
For the season, Robertson is averaging 18.2 points per game with 40 three-pointers and 83.0 percent shooting from the free throw line (112-of-135).
The Sam Houston women's team will be in action again Thursday at 6:30 p.m. when the Bearkats play host to Lamar University at Bernard G. Johnson Coliseum.
