Since 2000, Sam Houston has won 32 Southland Conference championships and made 20 NCAA playoff appearances.
At the same time, Bearkat student-athletes have produced an overall department grade point higher than the general student population and garnered league and NCAA academic honors as well.

The Bearkat Champions Fund is the sole fundraising arm for Sam Houston athletics. It helps provide SHSU student athletes with the resources to succeed on and off the field of play. By donating to Bearkats Athletics, alumni, fans and friends become a part of the success of the program.
