No. 14 Flordia State defeats Bearkat women

No. 14 ranked Florida State handed the Sam Houston women's basketball team a 94-37 loss Saturday afternoon at the LIU-Brooklyn Turkey Day Classic Saturday.
FSU hit 37 of its 60 shots from the floor for a 61.7 field goal percentage. Brittany Brown led Florida State with 24 points. Adut Bulgak added 18.
Angela Beadle was Sam Houston's top scorer with 10 points. Shernise Robertson added seven and Kamry Orr and Jasmine McCants both scored five points.
Sam Houston trailed 26-11 after the first period. FSU went on a 25-7 run in the second period to take a 51-18 halftime lead.
The Bearkat women take on tournament host LIU-Brooklyn Sunday afternoon.
