
Brenda Nichols Elite Girls Camp June 20

The Brenda Nichols Elite Girls Basketball Camp will feature outstanding instruction for young players Saturday, June 20, at Sam Houston's Bernard G. Johnson Coliseum.
The camp, which will run from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., will focus on experienced girls basketball players and allowing them to learn and increase basketball knowledge through drills and competition.
Cost of the camp is only $80 if campers enroll by June 5 and includes a camp T-shirt and lunch.
The camp is for high school girls only (ages 13 and up). Camp cost after June 5 is $100.
Camp awards include offensive MVP, defensive MVP and overall MVP. Each camper will receive a special Elite Girls Basketball Camp certificate.
Heading the instruction for the camp are Sam Houston head coach Brenda Nichols and her assistants Rosalind Jennings and Stacy Stephens and graduate assistant Jessica Salera.
The group of top instructors also includes Brittany Barton (Head Girls Basketball Coach Regents School of Austin); Kim Haynes (Athletic Director of EB Comstock Middle School), Travis Nicks (Head Boys Basketball Coach Roby High School & Elementary Principal and Katrina Robinson – (Head Girls Basketball Coach Irving High School).
Members of the 2015-16 Sam Houston women's basketball team helping with the camp include Shernise Robertson, Amanda Barnes, Angela Beadle, Shadijah Moore, Jasmin Anderson, Saundra Guillory and Angela Delaney.

All Campers will need to bring with them:
♦ 1. Current physical dated no later than June 19th, 2014. (No one may participate without one)
♦ 2. Waiver/ Liability form signed by parent/ guardian. (No one may participate without one)
♦ 3. Basketball shoes and other needed gear or braces to participate in the camp.
