2015 Fall Scholarship Process Information

The 2015 fall semester athletic scholarship process will be conducted in the Learning Enhancement Center (room 321) Thursday August 20 and Friday August 21.
All Scholarship student-athletes MUST process their aid through athletics.
Each student-athlete must accept their financial aid award, adding meal plans and housing if appropriate.
Before entering the LEC you must:
• Print a fee statement and your class schedule prior to arrival for Scholarship process
Upon entering the LEC you will be instructed to:
• Review Eligibility packet and sign
• Process aid with assistant athletic director John Holder
All athletes will have a block on their financial aid until they have completed the scholarship process. Schedules must be in place 24 hours before your scholarship can be processed.
Please check Banner Self Service under Campus Resources Tab on MySam to confirm everything has been completed with Financial Aid. You must accept your athletic award before it can be processed.
If you are on full-scholarship, the amount on your award is an estimate. Your actual amount will be adjusted once your charges have been finalized. In the event there is a problem with your Financial Aid, you may have to secure an emergency loan until the problem can be resolved.
In order to process aid with John Holder, you must ensure that following items correct on your fee statement:
• Meal Plan
• Housing
• Installment Options
All parking tickets must be paid before you can process athletic aid
Student-athletes who need to make an additional payment, not covered by scholarship or financial aid must go to the Bursar's Office in person at the Estill Building by 4 p.m.
This process must be complete by 4 pm on Tuesday, August 25 or you will lose your class schedule. The first class day is Wednesday, August 26.
Scholarship Process Dates and Times
Thursday, August 20 -- 9 a.m. until 3 p.m.
Friday, August 21 -- 9 a.m. until 1 p.m.
Note - Men's and Women's Cross Country at 1 p.m.; Baseball 2 p.m.
Freshman & International Student-Athletes
Monday, August 24 - 9 a.m. until 3 p.m.
NO SCHOLARSHIP PROCESSING ON TUESDAY AUGUST 25
WEDNESDAY AUGUST 26 - FIRST DAY OF CLASS - FALL 2015
