Grow The Growl games announced for fall

HUNTSVILLE, Texas – Sam Houston State athletics kicks off its annual Grow The Growl campaign this Saturday, with football's Homecoming game vs. Abilene Christian marking the first of four select games this fall with prize opportunities for students.
In order to be eligible for the grand prize, students must swipe in at all four fall events using their active Bearkat OneCard. This year's grand prize is a 49” flat screen TV and PlayStation® 4, courtesy of SHSU Online. In order to be eligible to win, students must attend the following games:
• Football – Sat. October 15th (Athletics, 300 t-shirts)
• Soccer – Fri. October 21st (Student Activities, 500 hype socks)
• Volleyball – Tue. November 1st (Greek Life, 250 megaphones)
• Women's Basketball – Mon. November 21st (Residence Life, TBD)
Several other prizes will be given out at each game to the first select amount of students. Other giveaways include 300 t-shirts to Saturday's Homecoming football game, 500 hype socks at soccer on Oct. 21 and 250 megaphones on Nov. 1 at volleyball.
