Bearkat Champions fund kicks off new year

Bearkat Athletics is focused on enhancing the student-athlete experience by providing high level academic and athletic opportunities, as well as all of the resources required to do so. This takes significant financial support from our biggest fans, alumni, former-letterwinners, and friends of the program. The cost of student-athlete's many needs - including fifth-year and summer scholarships, facility & equipment upgrades, academic resources, and much, much more - go beyond the financial support provided through internal resources.
The Bearkat Champions Fund, sole fundraising arm of Bearkat Athletics, helps provide our student-athletes with the resources needed to help them become champions on and off the field of play. By donating to Bearkat Athletics, you become a part of the success of our student-athletes and athletic teams.
Our 2015-2016 Season Ticket Holders helped add over $100,000 to our budget through seat donations alone and 100% of our Athletics Staff made contributions to the Bearkat Champions Fund for the third year in a row. These successes, coupled with additional philanthropic donations and contributions through our fundraising events, have gone a long way in helping us get closer to our goal of raising $1.25 million annually through the Bearkat Champions Fund by 2018 and $1.5 million annually within the next five years. Unfortunately, we are not there yet.
As we enter a new, promising year for Bearkat Athletics, you can help us reach our financial goal and goal of “Building Champions” in over 400 student-athletes by becoming a Bearkat Champion or renewing your annual gift today.
Bearkat Champions receive priority points for every dollar contributed to the Champions Fund, Academic Fund, or a specific sport's Enrichment Fund. Priority points provide our most loyal supporters with the opportunity to receive National Championship/Post-season tickets, premium seat locations, reserved parking, special event invitations and more.
