Bearkat Athletics Announces 2020 Football Season Ticket Renewal and New Sales Plan

Dear Bearkats,
On behalf of our entire athletics program, I hope that you and your loved ones are safe and healthy. I want to assure you that as we navigate these challenging times, we are working hard to ensure the well-being of our student-athletes and staff. As we continue our efforts to move forward from this unprecedented event, I want to thank you for your continued support of Sam Houston State Athletics.
This time last year we were celebrating our ninth Southland Championship of the Spring semester alone. Unfortunately, our stadiums have been empty for more than two months and I assure you we are looking forward to having you back cheering on our Bearkats very soon.
Your support through purchasing season tickets is vital to the success of all student-athletes across 17 Bearkat sports. In order to meet the needs of our fans, we have made adjustments to our pricing and payment structures. We have also updated our refund policies to address any cancellations due to COVID-19.
Discounted Tickets:
*15% off the price of season tickets renewed or purchased by June 30 excluding seat commitment
*10% off the price of season tickets renewed or purchased by July 31 excluding seat commitment
*5% off the price of season tickets renewed or purchased by September 4 excluding seat commitment
Payment Plan:
*4 monthly payments
*3 monthly payments
*2 monthly payments
Cancellation Policy:
If, as the result of issues surrounding COVID-19, any portion of the 2020 Football season is cancelled, season ticket purchasers may choose from the following:
*A refund for the 2020 football season excluding seat commitment.
*Credit dollar value toward 2021 football season ticket purchase excluding seat commitment.
*Convert dollar value to a donation to the Bearkat Champions Fund for a 2020 tax-deductible gift.

Our fans are a big part of what makes the student-athlete experience so special and in the coming months, your attendance and energy at every venue on campus will mean so much more after everything we have all been through.
