Kats roll past Our Lady of the Lake

HUNTSVILLE — Sam Houston started rolling at the end of the first quarter and dominated the Our Lady of the Lake with a 102-72 victory at Johnson Coliseum on Friday.

The Bearkats trailed early but found their rhythm to take a 22-20 following the opening period and did not push on the breaks. The exhibition allowed Sam Houston to see live game action for the first time with the season opener just around the corner.

Transfer Racheal Emmanuel finished with a double-double at 19 points and 10 rebounds. Junior Sydnee Kemp put up 17 points, while Diarrah Sissoko and Kassidy Dixon both finished with 13.
