NACOGDOCHES — Sam Houston lost in three sets to Ole Miss on day two of the Stephen F. Austin Invitational on Friday night.

The Rebels won the match 25-16, 25-23, 25-17 as the Bearkats fell to 6-6 on the season.

McKenzie Morvant and Hailey Heider each lead Sam Houston with five kills while Alyssa Fielder added four. Hannah Baker had 16 digs, and Avery Fowler had 14 assists.

The Bearkats close out the tournament Saturday with a match against Tulsa at 11 a.m.
