HUNTSVILLE — Sam Houston fell to 0-4 in Conference USA action following a 3-0 loss to Florida International on Saturday at Johnson Coliseum.

The Panthers defeated the Bearkats 25-22, 25-15 and 25-17 to improve to 4-0 in league play.

Alyssa Fielder and Payton Woods led Sam Houston with eight kills each, while McKenzie Morvant chipped on six. Avery Fowler and Hannah Baker each finished with 11 digs.

The Bearkats return to action Tuesday and Wednesday when they host Louisiana Tech. Both matches are scheduled for 6:30 p.m.
