HUNTSVILLE - The Sam Houston Bearkats dropped their second straight match to Kennesaw State, 3-0 (22-22, 17-25, 19-25) on Saturday at Johnson Coliseum.Â
The Bearkats (8-16, 0-11 CUSA) fell in three sets to the Owls after hitting just above .200 in the first and third set. The Kats hit .212 and recorded 6 total blocks.

Lauren Malone and Chloe Monson led the Kats in kills. Malone had 9 kills and two blocks and Monson had 7 kills. Avery Fowler and Chelsea Butler led the defense with three blocks. Fowler had 14 assists on the day.

The Bearkats will be back in action at home for their match up against Louisiana Tech on Friday at Johnson Coliseum.
