LIMA, Peru — Ana Gonzales, a rising star for the nationally ranked Sam Houston bowling team, just delivered the performance of her career in front of her hometown fans at the CAMPEONATO SURAMERICANO CONSUBOWL held at the iconic Videna Lanes in Lima, Peru.
Representing her country with heart and precision, Gonzales competed against some of South Americas top talent from eight nations — and came away with a career-best five medals.
She won gold in singles and team competition, silver in doubles and all events and won bronze in trios.
"Ana's grit, talent and focus are taking her game to the next level this summer, and we couldn't be more proud of her success," Bearkats head coach Brad Hagen said. "Keep your eyes on this Bearkat standout — she's just getting started."
