HUNTSVILLE — Sam Houston will welcome four Division I programs to Johnson Coliseum when the 2025-26 women's basketball nonconference schedule gets underway in November.
 
The Bearkats will open with Southwestern Christian on Nov. 3 then hit the road for back-to-back games at TCU on Nov. 9 and Arkansas-Pine Bluff on Nov. 12. Sam Houston follows that up with consecutive homes games against Prairie View on Nov. 17, ULM on Nov. 20 and North American on Nov. 25.
 
The Kats begin December with two road clashes at Rice on Dec. 3 and Alabama on Dec. 16.
 
Sam Houston fans are in for a treat when SMU visits Huntsville on Dec. 19. It is just the second time in program history the Mustangs are set to come to Johnson Coliseum, having won the previous meeting 79-58 in 1993.
 
The Bearkats complete the nonconference portion of the schedule with home against Northern Colorado on Dec. 22 and Dallas on Dec. 28.
