Hobbs is a native of Lexington and joins older sister Kylie Hobbs in Huntsville. Kinsey Hobbs is a true utility athlete, being able to compete in the infield and in the outfield. Primarily playing shortstop at her high school, she was district Most Valuable Player, academic all-district in 2021 and 2022 and was all-state honorable mention in 2022.
