Named Conference USA Newcomer of the Year and earned First Team All-Conference USA honors after one of the most productive offensive seasons in program history ... Started all 54 games and batted .335 with 52 hits, 17 home runs and a team-high 46 RBIs ... Set a new Sam Houston single-season record for home runs while leading the Bearkats in home runs, RBIs, total bases (113), slugging percentage (.729) and walks (30) ... Ranked among the conference leaders in multiple offensive categories and finished first in Conference USA in home runs ... Posted a .444 on-base percentage and helped anchor one of the league's most dangerous offenses ... Recorded a .997 fielding percentage with 342 putouts and just one error.
