Kats announce 2027 CUSA softball schedule

HUNTSVILLE — Sam Houston softball will open its 2027 Conference USA schedule at home and close the regular season on the road, the league announced Wednesday.

Sam Houston's conference schedule features five home series and four on the road. The Bearkats will begin conference play March 12-14 against Kennesaw State before traveling to Missouri State for their first road series of the season March 19-21.

Sam Houston returns home March 26-28 to host Western Kentucky before welcoming FIU to Huntsville April 2-4. The Bearkats then begin a stretch of three road series in four weeks, traveling to Middle Tennessee April 9-11 and Jacksonville State April 23-25 with a home series against New Mexico State sandwiched between the two road trips April 16-18.

The Bearkats will host Liberty April 30-May 2 before concluding the regular season at Delaware May 6-8.

The 2027 Conference USA Championship is scheduled for May 12-15 and will be hosted by Jax State in Jacksonville, Alabama.
