Accessible Seating & Parking
Wheelchair accessible seating is available on the concourse area of Bowers Stadium on both the home and away side of the stadium. All accessible seats are reserved. Contact the ticket office at (936) 294-1729 to purchase accessible seats. Wheelchair access is located at the two gates on the West side stands. The ramps at the West side gates are a steep grade. Wheelchair access is also provided through means of an elevator located at the base of the Press Box. A pre-purchased ticket will be required for access. Parking is available directly beside the West stand of Bowers Stadium for Handicapped patrons who present their handicapped parking tag at the gate. This is a guarded lot on game day...please have your parking tag ready to present.
Alcohol
Alcoholic beverages are not prohibited inside the stadium.
Animals
No pets or animals of any kind are permitted in the stadium, with the exception of service dogs used by guests with disabilities.
Fan Code of Conduct
Bearkat fans are the best of the best. They model this by loudly supporting the Kats and displaying respect and good sportsmanship toward the visiting team and visiting fans. The NCAA, Southland Conference and SHSU have assigned a high priority to assuring athletic events are conducted in a safe and enjoyable atmosphere which promotes good sportsmanship by spectators, student-athletes and coaches. We request your cooperation by supporting the participants, officials, those around you, and event management in a positive manner and treating others with courtesy and respect.
First Aid
Fans in the stadium requiring first aid should find a uniformed police officer or Stadium Event Staff Personnel. EMS is located under the scoreboard.
Merchandise
Merchandise is available for purchase inside Bowers Stadium on the Northwest ramp.
Tailgating Locations & Policies
Tailgating is available and encouraged in all public parking lots. Tailgating in Bearkat Alley opens 2 hours prior to kickoff and is located in the North Parking lot behind the scoreboard. Outlined below are additional tailgating reminders:
- Glass beverage containers are not allowed.
- Charcoal must be disposed of properly. Please do not place charcoal or other flammables in trash cans, under trees or leave it in the parking areas.
- Companies may not issue sample products without being properly licensed by the University. Food, drink, and other items may neither be sold nor given to the general public. Additionally, any promotional activity must be approved in advance by the Sam Houston State Athletic Department's Marketing/Licensing office.
- Solicitations of any kind within the facilities or on University grounds are prohibited unless specifically approved by the University. The distribution of flyers or leaflets on parked vehicles is expressly prohibited.
- Political signage that implies endorsement of any political candidate or any political issue may not be displayed nor may political materials be distributed without prior approval by Sam Houston State University.
Throwing Items
The throwing of items is strictly prohibited and will not be tolerated and is grounds from removal from the stadium.
Ticket Information
The Bearkat Ticket Office is located in the West Box Office of Bowers Stadium. The Ticket Office is open Monday through Friday from 8am-5pm for advance ticket sales. Guests can also order tickets by calling 936-294-1729 or by ordering on-line at www.gobearkats.com/tickets/.
· Season Tickets
Season ticket renewals for football are mailed in April each year. Payment for season tickets can be made in cash, by check payable to "SHSU", or charged to VISA, Mastercard. All tickets are mailed in August.
· Priority Seating Tickets
Priority ticket seating guidelines are established by the athletic department and the Bearkat Champions Fund. The guidelines provide the donor with an efficient and equitable method to determine seating eligibility for season tickets as well as post-season tickets. · Single-Game Tickets
Single-game tickets are available on game day at the Bowers Stadium ticket office on the West side of the stadium between gates 2 and 3. No single game tickets will be sold on game day at the main ticket office in the Ron Mafrige Field House. Single game tickets purchased at the event location may be paid with cash or credit card. Single-game tickets may be purchased online through www.GoBearkats.com at least four hours prior to kickoff and these tickets will be available at Will Call, located on the back of the West Side Press Box.

Team Pass List
Player and Team guests may receive complimentary tickets if their name is included on the pass list for that day's game. Home Team Pass list tickets can be picked up at the table outside the West Box Office of Bowers Stadium. Away Team Pass List tickets can be picked up at Gate 5 (Southeast Corner) of Bowers Stadium. Guest must have a photo ID ready to receive tickets on the pass list. Everyone in your party receiving pass list tickets must be present at the time of pick-up and each person must sign for their ticket.
