Watson is second in Sam Houston history with 569 career assists and is third in steals with 191. He scored 948 career points, which is 34th all-time in school history. He is 10th in school history with 147 career 3-point field goals and ninth in attempts at 422.
He was a second-team All-SLC selection in 2000 when he helped the Bearkats win the regular season Southland Conference championship, the first of three in head coach Bob Marlin's career at Sam Houston.
