Hrozek was an outfielder for the Bearkat softball teams that won the 1981 NAIA World Series and the 1982 NCAA Division II national championship. Her senior season in 1983, the Kats were Division II national runners-up. She played on teams that rolled up a record of 115 victories and only 34 losses. Hrozek ranks as Sam Houston's fourth all-time leading hitter (.346 career average) and stands third in Kat career stolen bases.
