NATCHITOCHES - The 22nd-ranked Northwestern State Demons, the SFL's leading total offense team, rolled up 599 yards in a 38-21 Homecoming victory over the Bearkats. Outstanding special teams play allowed the Bearkats to tie the game 14-14 early in the third quarter. Just before half, Calvin Robinson registered the fifth punt block of the season for the Kats and Jalani Sanders stole the ball on the kickoff return to set up two field goals. Then another fumble recovery set up a short 28-yard touchdown drive. The Demons outscored the Kats 24-7 the rest of the way, however.
