HUNTSVILLE - SFL total offense leader Montressa Kirby passed for 354 yards and ran for 74 more to lead Jacksonville State to a 28-21 victory in the Gamecocks's Southland Football League debut. Kirby threw three TD passes, two to Ronald Bonner for fourth quarter scores. Elmore Armstrong led the Bearkats with 121 yards rushing including two touchdowns. True freshman Eric Polk carried 17 times for 88 yards and a tally.
