A year ago, the Sam Houston State athletic department launched Gobearkats.com, your one stop for Bearkat news, games and highlights. Now shopping for Sam Houston State apparel is just as easy.
SHSU Director of Athletics Bobby Williams is pleased to announce the launch of Bearkatgear.com, the new online location for Sam Houston State athletics merchandise.
“This is something we have been working on for quite some time, and we are really excited to get this up and running,” Williams said. “One of the biggest questions we get from our fans is where can they buy apparel, so we are happy to finally have a place for them to shop online.”
Bearkatgear.com will be easily accessed from Gobearkats.com. Currently there is a wide variety of items available for purchase including polos, sweatshirts and golf bags and accessories. In the coming weeks, hats and jerseys along with many other items will be added to the store.
Bearkatgear.com is the next offering in a line of additions to the Gobearkats.com helping the fans get closer to Sam Houston State athletics. Bearkat Vision and the Photo Store were part of the original launch last fall and a month ago, the DVD Store was activated.
“We are always looking for ways to connect with our fans, and this is another way to do that,” Williams said. “We hope our fans take advantage of this opportunity.”
