"Family Pack" bargain for Saturday afternoon games

That's the incredible bargain Sam Houston athletics offers with its new "Family Pack" for the three men's basketball Saturday afternoon games in December and January.
This "Saturday Afternoon Family Pack" for Bearkat men's basketball represents almost a 50 percent savings over the normal $52 cost of four tickets, four hot dogs, four popcorns and four sodas.
"Sam Houston State wants to showcase the outstanding family entertainment our Bearkat men's basketball games offer," director of athletics Bobby Williams said. "What better time for a family outing to Johnson Coliseum than Saturday afternoon."
Area fans can take advantage of this offer for Bearkat Saturday afternoon basketball games on Dec. 5 with the Louisiana-Lafayette Ragin' Cajuns, Dec. 12 against Eccelsia College and the Jan. 9 Southland Conference opener against defending league champion Stephen F. Austin.
All three games tip off at 2 p.m. The "Family Pack" consists of four general ddmission tickets, four hot dogs, four popcorns and four sodas - a $52 Value for just $28.
A minimum of four tickets must be purchased. Additional tickets may be purchased at $7 each.
Fans can purchase a "Family Pack" in advance online at www.gobearkats.com or at Johnson Coliseum the day of the game.
The Bearkat athletic ticket office is located in the Ron Mafrige Field House in the south end zone of Bowers Stadium. Ticket office hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. The ticket office telephone number is (936) 294-1729.
