LaTisha Morgan inks with Bearkats

HUNTSVILLE ? The Sam Houston State women's basketball team added some much needed depth to its frontcourt with the signing of LaTisha Morgan, head coach Brenda Nichols announced.
“Tish was a qualifier out of high school but comes from a military family and moved around a lot, having been in four different places the past five years, so she was rather overlooked in the recruiting process. She has a great build, good fundamentals, and is athletic. It will be great to have her for three years,” said Nichols.
Morgan, a 6'2 post, played one season at Moberly Area Community College. The Atlanta, GA native graduated from Waubonsie Valley High School in Aurora, IL where she helped lead the team to a state semifinal berth as a senior. She competed her sophomore and junior seasons at Bolingbrook High School in Bolingbrook, IL where she helped her team to a state championship her sophomore season and state runner-up finish as a junior.
Morgan will have three years of eligibility at Sam Houston State. She joins fellow signees Ana Migueres, Terrah Austin, Sequeena Thomas, Clarke Davis, and Chanice Smith as newcomers for the Bearkats
