	What is a Bearkat Champion? A Bearkat Champion is an alumni, fan, former student-athlete or former coach who invests in our current student-athletes' experiences. That experience provides each student-athlete a first class education and the opportunity to excel on the field of play. The success of the athletic program is directly related to your participation in The Champions Fund. Become a Bearkat Champion The Bearkat Champions Fund is an all-inclusive marketing and fundraising opportunity that enhances the goal of current successes on the field and in the classroom by the Sam Houston State department of athletics.
