Three top high school recruits ink women's basketball letters

Beadle is a 6-3 post player from Austin Crockett High School. Both 6-0 Threats and 6-1 Wiley are forwards for Fort Worth Dunbar High School
Ranked No. 35 in scoring and No. 9 in rebounding nationally by MaxPreps, Beadle averaged in double figures in both scoring and rebounding last season. She led her team to the Texas Class 4A state playoffs in 2010 and makes the Cougars a leading contender for the District 26-4A title this year. Academically, she ranked among the top 10 percent of her class.
"Angela brings a strong scoring and rebounding presence around the rim," Nichols said. "She will be a force to be reckoned with in the Southland Conference next season."
Threats averaged 23.2 points and 7.1 rebounds as a junior at Everman High School to set a school single season scoring record last year. She earned All-District first team honors and was voted team "Most Valuable Player." She transferred to Dunbar for her senior season.
"Katelynn is an athletic player and a tremendous scorer," Nichols said. "She will be a great addition to our program."
Wiley scored more than 1,000 career points at Fort Worth Nolan and will return to Dunbar as a senior this year. She averaged 15.1 and 8.2 rebounds as a junior, earning All-State, TAPPS 5A All-Tournament and TAPPS 1-5A Defensive Player of the Year honors. She ranks among the top 10 percent of her class at Dunbar.
"Jazmin is a versatile player with a work ethic second to none," Nichols said. "Each young lady has their own strengths that they will add to our team next year. In turn, they will help us continue reaching our goals as a program."
