Kelsi Brown signs with Bearkat women's soccer

Brown has been a three-time All-District and All-Region selection at Atascocita and has been named to the ESPN Rise Magazine All-Area team the past two years.
She has played for Challenge 92 soccer club since 2006, helping lead the team to three state championships and two Region 3 finals appearances. She played on four-time STYSA state finalist and two-time state championship teams for United Alliance club from 2002 to 2006.
Brown has participated in the Olympic Development Program, earning selection to the South Texas 1991 State Team in 2005-08 and the Region 3 Pool Team in 2006 and 2008.
"Kelsi is a terrific player who has had tremendous success with her club and high school teams," Brown said. "She is a good ball winner, a good passer of the ball and a versatile player who can play anywhere in the field. Adding Kelsi to our team, continues to strengthen our team and will help us reach our goals in the 2010 season."
