HUNTSVILLE -- Sam Houston State swept all three doubles and had four of their five singles players win as the Bearkats won their first Southland Conference women's tennis dual match with a 5-2 victory over UTSA.  

Giorgia Pozzan, Tatyana Postnikova and Nadia Dubyanskaya won at one, two and four singles in straight sets and Cally Woerner won at number five singles in three sets.  

Pozzan and Federica Denti won at number one doubles, Sheridan Currie and Postnikova at two and Dudyanskaya and Woerner paired for the win at number three doubles.  

Sam Houston State faces Texas A&M-Corpus Christi in another Southland match Sunday.
