Alumni Association sets pre-game reception in Katy

The reception will take place from 3 to 5 p.m. at the Omni Houston Hotel on Westside, located at 13210 Katy Freeway in Houston, approximately eight miles from the Merrell Center.
Light hors d'oeuvres and a beverage ticket will be provided along with a cash bar. There is no admission charge for the reception.
The Sam Houston State men's team is the No. 1 seed in the Southland tournament. The Bearkats won the Southland's regular season title for the third time this year.
Tickets to see both the men and the women play in the State Farm Southland Conference Post-Season Classic tournament are now on sale. The winner of the Southland tournament earns the league's automatic berth in the 2010 NCAA Big Dance.
