Devin Wombles signs with women's basketball

Wombles earned All-Midwest Athletic Conference second team honors as a two-year starter for the Trail Blazers. She was the second-leading scorer on the team, averaging 12.1 points and 4.5 rebounds as she helped lead JWCC to a 17-14 record as a sophomore. As a freshman, she averaged 5.8 points on a 21-10 squad.
She was an all-conference selection in high school at Pleasant Hill High School in Pleasant Hill, IL, averaging 15.2 points and 4.7 rebounds for coach Jeff Shireman. During her four-year high school career, she scored more than 1,000 points, served as a team co-captain and was named to several all-tournament squads. She also earned all-conference honors and was team "Most Valuable Player" in volleyball.
An outstanding student, she was a member of the National Honor Society, was named as an All-American Scholar and was a Pike County Conference Scholar Athlete four years in a row.
