Men produce 18 top 10 finishes in Demon meet

Edwards took first place in the long jump with a leap of 25' 5.25". Edwards (49' 7") also was the runner-up in the triple jump. Chris Gilchrist (49' 1.5") finished third in the triple.
Roger Rueweler (1:53.57) was the runner-up in the 800 meters with Julius Michael (1:57.53) placing eighth in the same race. Jay Newman (52.14) was second in the 400 meter hurdles and Patrick Krol (10:09.19) placed third in the 3,000 meter steeplechase.
Scottie Jones finished fifth in the 110 meter hurdles with a mark of 15.10 seconds.
Henry Jordan (23' 5.25") finished sixth in the long jump. Blake Woolums (16:18.68) was sixth in the 5000 meters and Travis Kocurek (4:19.02) placed seventh in the 1500 meters. The men's 4x400 meter relay placed seventh with a time of 3:20.05.
Matt Johnson placed fifth in the pole vault (14' 11") and ninth in the high jump with a leap of 5' 11.25". Brek Christensen was eighth in the discus (153' 9").
