Bearkats to be featured twice on Southland TV

On Wednesday, the Southland Conference announced its annual television package that will feature 10 games this season, kicking off the 2010 slate with the Bearkats hosting Gardner-Webb.
In addition to the matchup against the Bulldogs, the highly anticipated move of the "Battle of the Piney Woods" to Houston will also be broadcast by the Southland. The game against SFA will be a 2 p.m. kick while the game against Gardner-Webb will start at 6 p.m.
The conference also announced a new television affiliate for the 2010 season in Houston. All 10 games this season can be seen on KHOU-TV, Channel 11.2, which is the digital channel for the CBS affiliate in Houston.
