Huntsville area businesses will soon be getting visits by the Bearkat athletics summer sales team.
Drew Eakins, Peta Taylor, Mickal Terry and Jeremy Washington are the four members of the team. The quartet's objective is to sign up area businesses in the Sam Houston athletic department's "This is Bearkat Kountry" campaign.
The group seeks to involve Huntsville area businesses in supporting the Sam Houston Bearkat athletic program.
There are three levels of participation including the gold partner package ($1,000), the silver partner package ($750) and a minimum level of $500.
At the minimum level, businesses would receive two reserved tickets for the "Battle of the Piney Woods" football game between Sam Houston and Stephen F. Austin at Reliant Stadium in Houston on Oct. 23 in the lower corner, four reserved tickets as part of an eight-game mini plan, which includes tickets to all Saturday home games and any other featured games throughout the season, 10 official Bearkat Kountry T-shirts with business' logo on the back that will be sold to fans and students, a decal or banner for the respective partner, one videoboard message at Bowers Stadium during all four home football games in the fall.
The silver and gold partner packages include additional tickets to Sam Houston football and basketball games.
Bearkat Kountry partner packages will be available for purchase beginning Monday and will run through July 22. The summer sales teams will be calling on area businesses throughout that period.
