Alumni Association offering bus to "Piney Woods" game

The Sam Houston State University Alumni Association is seeking passengers for a second charter bus to the "Battle of the Piney Woods" football game in Houston, TX on Saturday, October 23rd . The bus will depart Bowers Stadium parking lot at 10:00 AM and return immediately following the game.
The cost is $25 per person. Reservations are requested by October 20, 2010. For more information or to reserve your seat call the Office of Alumni Relations at (936) 294-1841 or via e-mail at alu_kat@shsu.edu.
With only the 26,000 seats in the lower bowl at Reliant Stadium available for purchase, tickets are going fast.
Battle of the Piney Woods tickets are now on sale through the university's athletic websites at www.gobearkats.com. Fans also can purchase tickets at the Sam Houston athletic ticket office located in the Ron Mafrige Field House in the south end zone at Bowers Stadium or by calling ticket office at (936) 294-1729.
Ticket prices range from $15 to $35. Sam Houston State season ticket holders will have premium ticket locations included in their packages. Only lower bowl seating will be open at Reliant Stadium for the "Battle of the Piney Woods." Sam Houston fans will be seated on the west side of the stadium while the SFA section will be on the east side.
