Villas on Sycamore $10,000 shot Jan 26 vs. SFA

One Sam Houston student win earn the opportunity to make a half-court shot for $10,000 and three will win great prizes as The Villas on Sycamore presents "Spirit Night" next Wednesday when the SHSU men play host to Stephen F. Austin at Bernard G. Johnson Coliseum.
The Villas on Sycamore will be searching for the most spirited Bearkat students on "Spirit Night." Prizes up for grabs include a Sony Bloggie video recorder, a Coolpix S4000 touch screen digital camera and an iPad. On top of this, the winner, who will be chosen by the fans, will take a half court shot for $10,000 during a timeout in the second half.
Three contestants will be chosen by a panel of Villas on Sycamore "Spirit Night" judges during the first half to face off and show their school spirit in front of the crowd at halftime. These contestants will all win significant prizes provided by The Villas on Sycamore.
The third place contestant will receive a Sony Bloggie video recorder. The runner-up will receive a Coolpix S4000 touch screen digital camera.
The first place winner will receive an iPad and the chance to win big money with the $10,000 shot. The half court shot will occur during the second media timeout of the second half. If the contestant can sink the shot within crossing the halfcourt line, he or she will win.
Any student who wants to compete in the Spirit Contest must register at a table manned by a full-time SHSU Athletics employee. Each student who meets the OddsOn Promotions standards will be given a wristband to wear during the first half.
Entrants must be a student; cannot have played or coached professional, semi-pro, college, JUCO, high school, or Olympics basketball within the last five years anywhere in the world; cannot be a current or former employee, family member, agent, successor, or assignees of SHSU Athletics , The Villas on Sycamore, or OddsOn Promotion.
Sam Houston State students may enter Bearkat home men's basketball regular season games at Johnson Coliseum on presentation of their BearkatOne card.
