Chalk Talk sessions slated for McKenzies BBQ

Sam Houston head football coach Willie Fritz and his staff will give all the lowdown on the Bearkats' 2011 recruiting blitz on Monday, Feb. 7, and head men's basketball coach Jason Hooten looks at the team's prospects for the post-season Monday, March 7 in a pair of "Chalk Talk" sessions for Bearkat Champions.
The special meetings will be held at McKenzie's Barbeque in Huntsville, Texas, beginning at 12 noon. Admission is $10 and includes a buffet lunch.
The Monday, Feb. 7, presentation follows NCAA national football signing day on Wednesday Feb. 2. Coach Fritz will give complete updates on each of the Bearkats' football recruits.
The Monday, March 7, program precedes the annual Southland Conference post-season basketball tournament to be held in Katy.
Sam Houston is the defending Southland Conference regular season and tournament men's basketball champion. Coach Hooten will analyze the outlook for the Bearkats at the tournament during the meeting.
